In 2016, my menstruation cycle stopped. Before this, I had my monthly cycle without any issues. My habits at university had caused stress to my body, and my doctor diagnosed me with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). I was recommended to take the birth control pill.

I prayed about it and decided to take the pill, which did regulate my cycle. After a year, with direction from a medical professional, I decided to stop taking the medication. However, my cycle stopped again. At this point, I did not have a personal revelation of Jesus’ finished work at the cross, and I thought my healing was dependent on my efforts.

I researched online resources for ways to regulate my cycle, only to be left frustrated with no results. I blamed myself for not seeing my healing. Although I believed Jesus could heal, I did not think He would heal me. I was ashamed of myself because I had not taken care of my body. I erroneously believed it was up to me to heal myself because God wanted to teach me a lesson.

In 2020, my mother introduced me to Pastor Steven’s teachings on the Holy Communion. I realized that my mistakes could not stop Jesus from healing me! I began to believe by faith for my healing and meditated on healing scriptures daily.

I partook of the Holy Communion regularly with the revelation that my healing was already complete. I read praise reports on Joseph Prince’s website of women healed of menstrual issues and was encouraged by their testimonies to walk by faith.

In September 2020, I had my first menstruation cycle naturally without medication! My cycle came every 2 to 4 months. I knew this was the 30- and the 60-fold manifestation of my healing. So even though I was tempted to doubt, I continued to walk by faith. In 2021, I decided to visit a gynecologist who confirmed that everything was functioning normally in my body, but I did not know why my cycle was not regular. I was told that I may never have a normal cycle, and I was recommended to take medication.

I did not receive the gynecologist’s report in my heart, and I prayed for direction about taking the medication. I heard God telling me to rest in Him. When Pastor Steven shared the theme of the year for 2022, God revealed to me how to rest in Him through the Communion and see the accelerated manifestation of my healing.

I can now testify that my menstruation cycle occurs every 30 days in a healthy manner. All the glory to Jesus! Hallelujah!
